A Plan 4 Me Heart Health = Everything Seminar on Feb. 14th

San Andreas, CA…January 13, 2020 –A healthy heart is essential to overall health and well-being. Mark Twain Medical Center will host a special workshop on Feb. 14 focusing on how to achieve and maintain heart health. Heart Health = Everything is from 10 a.m. to noon in the MTMC Education Center. A complimentary luncheon follows the workshop and free CPR training is also available.

“It’s fitting that this workshop focuses on heart health,” notes Doug Archer, President and CEO of MTMC. “February is American Heart Month and this program features insightful discussion on many aspects of this important topic.”
“Heart disease is the No. 1 killer of men AND women. The message is universal – it’s essential to take care of your heart,” he adds. “We think those attending Heart Health = Everything may be surprised to learn of the many specialized local resources available to help.”

Speakers are Laura Keller, Family Nurse Practitioner; Denise Mordue-Lane, Nurse Practitioner- Women’s Health; Jaymee Loverin, RN, Cardiac Services; Gary Arvin, Director of Imaging Services and Jana Carter, RN, Education Manager. There will be a special guest testimonial from a community member about her heart emergency scare and her successful outcome.

Heart Health = Everything is part of the ongoing “A Plan 4 Me” workshop series held at Mark Twain Medical Center on topics of interest to the Calaveras community.
