Hey Good People!! Mother Nature Bringing Fresh “Pure Mtn Fun” to Bear Valley

Bear Valley, CA…Hey Good People! The calm before the storm so to speak. Winds have picked up overnight ahead of the approaching system as the surface gradients are tightening up as winds could gust up into the mid 50’s today. We expect to see anywhere from 14-20″ of new snow today and another 5-9″ tonight before it makes its way East. The amount of snow plus higher volume winds will create some wind redistribution around the resort for the next few days so expect blowing snow and wind drifts to be the thing for the next 36hrs or so. Snowfall looks to creep down into the 3000′ range and possibly a little lower with the cold air out of the North influencing the system. Partly cloudy skies will remain through the MLK weekend with the next pulse showing face around Monday. It’s a great time to get yer riding game on so don’t forget to check out our Lifts and Trails page Daily for projected operations. Check out our “Pure Mtn Fun” as we have lots of it going on!
