San Andreas, CA…The Calaveras County Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors has selected Morgan Gace as the organization’s new Chief Executive Officer. This announcement follows Avneet Kaur, former CEO, electing to pursue another opportunity. We wish Avneet the best in her new endeavors.  We are thrilled that Morgan was available to make the quick transition and begin serving Calaveras County. “In initial conversations it became evident that Morgan’s values mirrored the mission of the Chamber:  to “promote and foster a healthy community through business advocacy and sustainability,” said Mark Luster, Chamber President.

 
Morgan’s background is varied across different industries, but rooted in customer service. Working with organizations like Starbucks, medical offices, and an outdoor hardscaping company, she created systems and techniques for training office teams to improve in their communication, leadership, and customer service.

Passionate about connecting with businesses, Morgan spent the last three years training medical front office and management teams, helping them to improve processes. Wanting to grow and have a framework for her consulting, she joined The John Maxwell Team as an Executive Director, utilizing their coaching, training, and speaking programs.
 
“I’m thrilled to join the Calaveras County Chamber of Commerce!  I’ve personally experienced the value of the chamber’s role in the community.  I truly believe there is massive potential for businesses in Calaveras and I look forward to being an advocate for each and every member and our community,” said Morgan.
 
Morgan’s vision for the Chamber is to connect with both members and non-members alike to explore ways the Chamber can continue to add value and support businesses within the region. “Our purpose is to grow the Chamber by ensuring value to each and every member’s business.”
 
Additionally, Morgan is committed to advocating for economic growth and being the legislative business advocate for our members and the community.
