Hey Good People!! Your “Pure Mtn Fun” Awaits in Bear Valley ~ Mattly Trent

Bear Valley, CA…Hey Good People! With the short wave trough making it’s exit this morning and it will leave in it’s wake the possibility of scattered snow showers into the mid- morning hours. A trace of snow is all that is expected with this disturbance in the force. Upper level ridging will strengthen today and bring a chance of partly sunny skies later today and early Saturday morning. Late Saturday night a decent Pacific front arrives and could give way to snowfall in the 2-8″ range. Models for that cycle are struggling to align currently so the numbers for that are still up in the air(literally). Snowfall elevations with Saturday nights event could start at 6-6500′ then drop down to 4500-5000′ come Sunday morning as cooler air aloft is injected into the area. Strong ridging returns at the beginning of next week so a little clearing and days of sunshine are in order. Conditions are fantastic around the resort and it’s a great time to get your riding game on so don’t forget to check out our Lifts and Trails page Daily for projected operations. Check out our “Pure Mtn Fun” as we have lots of it going on!
