Growing Lavender Class on April 25

Jackson, CA…“Growing Lavender” class on April 25, 2020. Amador County Master Gardener Ron Antone opens his lavender farm and cut-flower gardens to host the 2020 Public Education class on growing lavender. Join the UCCE Master Gardeners of Amador County for their class, “Growing Lavender” on Saturday, April 25, 2020. Learn about growing lavender in the foothills and how to choose and care for this fragrant perennial herb. Demonstrations will include propagation from cuttings, soil preparation and planting, harvest and drying techniques and essential oil distillation.
