Major Injuries to Twain Harte Man in Collision after his Subaru Outback was Clocked at 112 MPH!

Twain Harte, CA…On February 20, 2020 at approximately 12:20PM, 26-year-old Jarrett James Bravo of Twain Harte was driving his 2003 Subaru Outback westbound on State Route 108 near the east Twain Harte entrance at an extremely high rate of speed. At that same time, a CHP Officer was traveling eastbound on State Route 108 approaching Mr. Bravo. The Officer noticed Mr. Bravo’s high rate of speed and activated his radar obtaining a reading of 112 miles per hour. The Officer made a U turn and attempted to catch up to Mr. Bravo. As the officer traveled on westbound State Route 108, just east of Soulsbyville Road, he noticed a large cloud of dirt ahead of him. The Officer immediately recognized that Mr. Bravo lost control of his vehicle and it overturned multiple times.

Mr. Bravo was able to remove himself from the vehicle and was contacted on the right shoulder by the Officer. He suffered major injuries as a result
of the collision and was transported by air ambulance to Memorial Medical Center in Modesto for treatment.

This collision is still under investigation and drugs and/or Alcohol are not suspected to be a factor. It was also determined that he was wearing his seatbelt at the time of the collision.
