Chinese Camp Ca. CalFire has just dispatched a Full Wild Land Response to a Vegetation Fire in the 9700 Block of Rock River Drive South West of Chinese Camp. We will bring you updates as they become available.

Update: 1:16pm E4468 reporting 10-15 ac moderate rate of spread. AA440 with T82 T83 and Copter 404 are over the incident. The terrain looks Mobile Friendly which means Fire Engines can stay driving along the main line extinguishing the fire as they go.

Update: 1:30pm AA440 has requested 2 more Tankers and another Type v2 Copter to this incident. StanCo Fire is inbound to this incident.

Update: 1:43pm CalFire resources are working hard to contain this blaze. It is mainly in grassy fields with sparse brush and trees.

Update: 1:52pm FORWARD PROGRESS STOPPED AT 40 AC PLUS OR MINUS.

Update: 1:54pm Releasing Tankers back to Holister cancel Type 2 Copter Order
