Murphys, Calif., May 23rd, 2020 – Due to the impressive popularity of the first event, Live Like Goose Greif & Trauma Recovery, invites the community to unite and join them for the 2nd Annual Run Like Goose 5K Run/Walk, to be held on Saturday, May 23, 2020, Murphys Community Park. This event gives participants a 5K Run/Walk, featuring rolling hills, sights of pastures and the beautiful vineyards of Ironstone Winery.

Runners and walkers will receive a commemorative custom tech T-shirt, Pre- and post-race refreshments will be offered to all participants!

Awards for age groups male and female: 12 and under, 13-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60 and over.

After the race, participants are encouraged to take part the event’s after-race award ceremony and raffle.

Pre-registration entry fees:
Individual ages 18 & Under $25 / race day $30
Individual ages 19 & Over $35 / race day $40.

Race-day check in and registration will open up at 7:30 a.m., Murphys Community Park, 505 Algiers St, Murphys, CA 95247. This will be the same general area designated for the race finish/start line.

Live Like Goose, founded in 2018 (nonprofit EIN #82-5376182) offers ongoing, long-term education, services, and support through mindfulness and holistic modalities to adults and children who have experienced grief or complex trauma. Survivors learn resources to heal, improve their quality of life, and attain growth and freedom. We support the transformation of grief and trauma through safe healing communities. This school year, Live Like Goose has been meeting with Bret Harte and Vallecito High School students monthly, training students in mindfulness to promote emotional awareness, regulation and mange behavior better.
