Angels Camp, CA…Today the Calaveras County Superintendent of Schools Scott Nanik coordinated a conference call with Calaveras County School District Superintendents and the Calaveras County Public Health. Based upon the recommendation of Public Health all Calaveras County schools will be closed immediately with hopes of reopening on April 6, 2020. Student, staff and community safety is our biggest concern.

There are no new confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Calaveras County at this time.

Individual school districts will be reaching out to families and communities. Specific questions should be directed to them. We will continue to update our community as more information is available.
