San Andreas, CA…Calaveras County Public Health Officer Issues Local Order and Emergency Regulations To protect the health and well-being of all people living in Calaveras County, the Calaveras County Public Health Officer is ordering that all individuals living in Calaveras stay home, except as needed to maintain essential business and governmental operations. This order goes into effect immediately. This order is in place until further notice.
Essential services will remain open, such as:
Gas stations
Pharmacies
Food: grocery stores, farmers markets, food banks, convenience stores, take-out and delivery restaurants
Banks
Laundromats/laundry services
Essential local government functions will also remain open, including law enforcement and offices that provide government programs and services.
Non-essential services should be closed immediately, such as:
Public events and any gatherings
Dine-in restaurants, bars, wineries, tasting rooms
Churches and places of worship
Second hand stores, thrift stores, consignment stores, flea markets, and antique stores
Hair and nail salons, barber shops, spas, massage parlors, and tattoo parlors.
Public, private, and non-profit special events involving shared physical space.
Visitor and convention centers.
Guided sporting activities such as guided fishing and hunting.
Fish, bait and tackle shops.
Recreational boating, including the use of either motorized or non-motorized vessels or watercraft.
Any similar location, venue, or activity.
