San Andreas, CA…CALFIRE, in cooperation with Sierra Pacific Industries, will conduct a prescribed burn to reduce forest fuels along Winton Road just east of the community of West Point near Lily Valley Circle. The prescribed burn will begin Wednesday, April 29th, and conclude on May 1st. This burn project is part of the Winton- Schaads Vegetation Management Plan. The purpose of the prescribed burn is to reduce forest fuels on Sierra Pacific Industries timberland near the community of West Point. Approximately 37 acres will be burned, depending on weather conditions.
