COVID-19 vaccination is one of the most important tools we have to end this pandemic. After healthcare workers and long-term care residents, the next to be vaccinated will be individuals who: have a higher risk for severe disease or death (due to age or other factors), are unable to work at home, live or work in areas that have been highly impacted, and those most likely to spread disease to other workers or to the public.

OK, so it appears I am eligible now. I’m fairly well educated, and have used computers since before Al Gore “invented” the Internet, but cannot figure out from this coverage or any of the links that it points to how to sign up for a vaccination. I infer that public officials in this county “plan” to offer vaccinations to eligible people, but have not yet figured out how to actually roll it out.

This kind of mystifies me. When I had a horrible accident about a year ago, in this county, the first responders were badass and amazing, and saved my life. Are these people not being consulted? I’ll bet they have some good ideas.

I agree, I’m trying to locate the sign up link for my son-in-laws parents. I was able to schedule for my appointment in Eldorado county via the county site today. Perhaps they’re slow to update the site?

I agree with the above two posters. What is wrong with this county?? Just let people sign up- LIKE EVERY OTHER COUNTY out there???? If they can’t accommodate even the 75+ population- just be honest and say so and figure out an alternative. But just COMMUNICATE!! This can be a life and death situation for some of us and it’s not fair to string us along!!
