A “Celebration of Life” will be held in memory of Kelli Lewellen, our beloved store manager and Queen of our Deli at Glory Hole Sports in Angels Camp. Kelli Lewellen was only 50 years old when she was diagnosed with Stage 4 Pancreatic Cancer.
Those that were fortunate enough to have known her through the 6 years she worked at Glory Hole Sports know how deeply she will be missed and is irreplaceable. We want to remember her smile, silliness and the never ending giggles and laughter throughout the store. She was incredibly devoted to her family and her job. Please come help us in sharing your funny stories and sweet memories of her. Because we know, Kelli would not want tears.

During her 7 month battle, Kelli was the most gracious and courageous person I have ever met. She never once complained through all the pain and discomfort. Early in her diagnosis, she worried about leaving us shorthanded (of course, always worried about everyone else but herself). Her integrity and character is something unfortunately we don’t see in many people anymore. She exemplified in hard work, dedication and selflessness. In the 6 years she worked at Glory Hole Sports, she NEVER once called in sick, ALWAYS gave more than ever asked of her. She was priceless!

During those 7 months Kelli was overwhelmed with the incredible generosity of all the customers that contributed financially to help with her medical needs and expenses. She never could quite understand why people were so giving to her. In trying to explain to her, it was the simple little things that she did for customers, she always took that extra step to make that customer feel special and appreciated, Kelli always made customers feel like family and that was not forgotten…so during her battle those customers gave back to her only in a way that they could, and that was by financial support and of course endless prayers.

So we want to “Celebrate Kelli” as she so deserves and also thank all the friends and customers that supported her through it all.

Kelli is survived by her husband Bill Lewellen and her 3 boys; Tyler 25, Travis 21,
and Dillon 18, all from Valley Springs. Also survived by her parents Roger & Sandy Lornson of Arnold; and sisters, Sheli Martin and Mandy Lornson of Texas.
