San Andreas, CA…31 debris removal teams continue their work in the western and central Jesus Maria areas, as well as in the Old Gulch, Wendell, Moke Hill, East Murray Creek, Avenue A, Whiskey Slide, Hawver Road and Glencoe areas. Residents and workers are again cautioned as to the traffic risks associated with the number and types of vehicles in work areas. Please slow down around workers and their equipment.

156 properties in the debris removal program have now been cleared of burn debris. 77 properties in the program have returned soil sample results that confirm adequacy of comprehensive debris removal. Erosion control activity continues on cleared properties. NOTE: Residents are reminded that dust and ash may contain concentrated levels of heavy metals, asbestos, and other harmful materials and care should be taken to minimize contact and exposures.
While November 6 was the official cut-off date for property owners to sign up for the Right-of-Entry (ROE) program, additional properties are being considered on a case-by-case basis. Call the Environmental Management Agency at 209-754-6399 to find out if your property may be eligible.
