Sheriff’s Volunteer Unit Honored for Their Service

San Andreas, CA…Yesterday at the Calaveras County Board of Supervisors regular meeting, Sheriff Rick DiBasilio, members of the Sheriff’s Office, and the Board of Supervisors presented a proclamation recognizing the commitment of the Sheriff’s Volunteer Unit for their hard work and dedication for the year 2021. Last year, Sheriff Volunteers dedicated over 11, 700 hours to the citizens of Calaveras County by staffing and operating Sheriff Sub-stations and assisting with public events throughout the county. Human resource is our greatest asset and employee recognition is a core value for our department. Thank you to our Sheriff Volunteers for their continued exemplary service.
