Valley Springs, CA…Alyssa Mercedes Abel was placed in the arms of the angels and taken from this world on January 6, 2016 at the tender age of 24. She was born in Jackson, CA on May 16, 1991 and the world became a brighter place. Growing up, Alyssa loved going to the family cabin, riding and racing motorcycles, spending time at the lake wake boarding and boating and just having a good time with family and friends.
Alyssa was one of a kind, living her life by the beat of a different drummer, always reaching for the stars, and referring to herself as a unicorn. It was not only her physical beauty, but also her beautiful smile, charming ways and compassionate nature that captured so many hearts along the way and brightened so many lives. She will be truly missed by everyone who knew her.
Surviving are her father and mother, Ron and Kelly Abel, her sister Angel, her grandmothers, Eleanor Abel and Patty Dause, and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 16, 2016 at the La Contenta Club House, 1653 Hwy. 26, Valley Springs, CA.
