Valley Springs, CA…On 02/10/16 at about 0820 hours, the Calaveras County Sheriff’s Department responded to a residence on the 300 block of Sequoia Avenue, in Valley Springs, for a subject that was not breathing. Deputies arrived on scene and observed a 14 year old female who was pronounced deceased on scene by medical staff.
The parents stated that their daughter was suffering from unknown sickness and hasn’t been feeling well. The investigation into the death is ongoing. An Autopsy has been scheduled for cause of death.

Please pray for their family what a tragic loss She had the flu for four days. My nieces son also had it she took him in they gave him pills. Everyone should be aware. They were dear friends with my nieces family they are financially struggling and now this heartache please reach out and help them God bless them they have three sons and lost their only daughter. Do not ignore the flu
