Murphys, CA…James “Jimmy” Miller, born on August 7, 1954, to James and Lorraine Miller, passed away on August 3, 2024, at UC Davis Medical Center. He was 69 years old. A lifelong resident of Murphys, Jimmy’s life was a testament to his deep roots and commitment to his community and his friends. Known for his warm smile, generous spirit, and unwavering loyalty, he touched the lives of many who had the pleasure of knowing him.

Jimmy is survived by his partner, Maria Darby, daughter Lauren Wood, grandson Tristan Wood and sisters Trudy Ceja and Joanne Lackey. His legacy will live on in the hearts of his family and friends, and in the countless memories they shared.

A celebration of Jimmy’s life will be held on Saturday, August 17th at Frogtown from 2 – 5 pm. Jimmy Miller will be deeply missed but never forgotten.
