Mountain Ranch, CA…”Richard Paul Stevens Jr. of Mountain Ranch, known affectionately as Rick, passed away peacefully on August 24, 2024 at the age of 66. Born on May 18, 1958, in El Paso, Texas, Rick lived a life marked by his selflessness, creativity, and an extraordinary ability to fix anything that came his way.

Rick’s generous spirit made him a beloved figure to all who were blessed to know him. Always the first to offer help, his ingenuity in solving problems was matched only by his readiness to share his extensive knowledge and skills. He had a remarkable passion for jewelry making and was a fervid rock hobbyist. His approach to life was simple yet profound – emphasizing the importance of patience, resourcefulness, and the small joys of life.

He is survived by his father, Richard Stevens Sr.; his sister, Susan Stevens Clark; his partner, Donna McNamara; his daughters, Stella Jones (Brett) and Magdalena Stevens (Brad); and his four grandchildren; Evelyn, Abigail, Barrett Jones and Bodin Nash. He is preceded in death by his mother, Patricia Stevens.

Private services will be held with the family to honor Rick’s life. His presence will be deeply missed, but his spirit will continue to inspire his loved ones. “
