Sonora, CA…The Stanislaus and Eldorado National Forest, working with the Upper Mokelumne Watershed Authority, would like to invite members of the public to two scoping sessions — one virtual (Oct. 21), one in person (Oct. 22) – for the Mokelumne Amador Calaveras Forest Resilience Project (MAC 2).
During the sessions, interested participants will get an understanding of the workshop’s objectives as well as learn the format for the evening. Presenters will provide an overview of the National Environmental Protection Act (NEPA) process, an overview of the potential range of activities as well view maps to locate and place their homes/areas of concern and ask clarifying questions.
Folks interested in attending the October 21 virtual presentation can use the below link to access the meeting. The meeting will begin at 6 p.m.
