Pollock Pines Man Perishes in Hwy 49 Collision

Jackson, CA…On 11/7/2024 at approximately 1814 hours CHP was called to a solo vehicle crash with a sedan blocking the roadway on SR-49 south of Bell Road in Amador County. The vehicle was reported to be unoccupied. An unresponsive occupant was found nearby, by citizens, before emergency personnel arrived. The solo occupant was pronounced deceased at 1830 hours by Amador Fire personnel, before CHP arrival.
