This headline was misleading, I thought the US was investing $100B at Mar;A;Lago was our tax dollars going to improve Mar-A-Lago!

President-elect Donald Trump’s border czar Tom Homan stressed comments he made at the Northwest Side GOP holiday party in Illinois earlier in the week that he will prosecute mayors that knowingly harbor or conceal illegal immigrants. Homan told Fox & Friends on Friday that he would not hesitate to legally go after mayors who obstruct federal immigration law when it comes to the deportation of illegal immigrants.
“You will not only go after the illegal migrants, you may go after some mayors who aren’t helping?” co-host Steve Doocy asked.
“If they step over that line,” Homan replied. “They can sit back and watch us, which again I find incredible you don’t want to take public safety threats out of your community to help us, but there are laws on the books that we will — we will prosecute,” he said, citing laws against “impeding a federal law enforcement officer” and “knowingly conceal or harbor an illegal alien from ICE,” both of which he said were felonies.
“When I was an agent a long time ago, I’ve arrested US citizens for harboring an alien in their home or a place of employment,” Homan noted.
Homan said at the holiday party that Chicago Mayor Brandon Johnson should not “impede” with plans for mass deportation, which Homan revealed would begin in Chicago. “If he doesn’t want to help, get the hell out of the way.”
“If he knowingly harbors or conceals an illegal alien – I will prosecute him,” Homan added.
Homan sat down with New York City Mayor Eric Adams on Thursday, with the Democrat leader saying in a press conference following the meeting, that New York City would no longer be “a safe haven for those who commit repeated violent crimes against innocent migrants, immigrants and long-standing New Yorkers.”
