Calaveras County Sheriff’s Office Welcomes New Employees at Swearing-in Ceremony

San Andreas, CA…The Calaveras County Sheriff’s Office, on behalf of Sheriff Rachelle Whiting, is pleased to announce the swearing-in of our newest team members and the promotional advancements of two existing employees. The ceremony to recognize and celebrate this significant event took place on Wednesday, January 22, 2025, in the presence of family, friends, and Calaveras County Sheriff’s Office members.
Sheriff Rachelle Whiting administered the oath of office to the newest Calaveras law enforcement family members and those who have achieved promotional advancements. The ceremony represented a significant milestone for all involved, symbolizing the commencement or continuation of their commitment to serving our community with integrity and dedication. In a symbolic gesture, the newly hired and newly promoted employees took a step forward as directed by Sheriff Whiting. This step, as noted by Sheriff Whiting, represented the willingness of each person to step up to the responsibilities and requirements of their new positions in the Sheriff’s Office.
The following are the promotions: Corporal Jesse Silva and Correctional Corporal Sean Ellis.
The following new employees were sworn in: Deputy Pulskamp, Deputy David Rivera, Deputy Tyler Ferrante, Correctional Officer Andrew Higgins, Correctional Officer Devon Haynes, Correctional Officer Cyler Franco, Dispatcher Matthew Cashara, Sheriff Service Tech Aidan Lafferty, Correctional Tech Vanessa Gaytan Guardado, and Extra Hire Deputy Eric Troglia.
We invite the community to join us in welcoming these dedicated individuals to their new roles with the Calaveras County Sheriff’s Office.

    Great news for us in Calaveras County. Maybe a couple more biden/harris criminals might start packing their crack pipes and burglary tools, and pedal their stolen bicycles, or take the bus out of the county.

    Now with new officers maybe they can clean some of these illegals in Calaveras!!!
