Lake Alpine, CA…The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) will be temporarily closing State Route 4 / Ebbetts Pass for the incoming storm cycle as of 1:00 p.m. on Monday, May 12, 2025. The westbound closure will be set Raymond Meadows, and the eastbound closure will be at Lake Alpine. There is no current ETO for this short-term closure, Caltrans anticipates re-opening the highway to traffic early this week.

The Democratic National Committee Vice Chair David Hogg admitted during an interview that Democrats spent around $2 billion in an attempt to have Americans “not believe their eyes” when it came to the issue of former President Joe Biden’s age and decline as well as the economy.
Appearing on Real Time with Bill Maher, Hogg — who became a gun control activist after the 2018 Parkland High School shooting — told the host, “I’m going to get a lot of heat for what I’m about to say from my fellow Democrats.
