Hinterhaus Unveils Wine Cask Aged Gin

Arnold, CA…Hinterhaus Distilling has launched its wine cask-aged gin, Chasing Starlight, this week. The latest release comes as enthusiasts are seeking refined, interesting gins that highlight location and terroir.

Distilled from 100% red wine grapes from the Sierra Foothills, Hinterhaus vapor-infuses botanicals native to the distillery’s Sierra Nevada region into every batch of its flagship South Grove Gin. The latest gin release, Chasing Starlight, takes Hinterhaus gin to new depths that pay homage to the gin’s origins, explains co-founder Bonnie Boglioli-Randall.

“We wanted to bring our gin full circle,” says Boglioli-Randall. “Beginning its life as recycled red wine from the Sierra foothills, we chose to barrel-age it in local red wine casks to underscore the connection to our local wine region in northern California.”

Currently, Chasing Starlight is available for purchase at the distillery’s bottle shop, on the Hinterhaus
Distilling website for shipping within California, and at a selection of retailers of fine spirits in California. For more information on carrying this product, please reach out to our contact information above.
