San Andreas, CA…Meet Dougie (A058863), a male Alaskan Husky mix, about 1 year old and 59 pounds. Dougie is a sweet, affectionate young dog who’s quickly become a staff favorite thanks to his gentle nature and excellent leash manners. He arrived as a stray, so we don’t know much about his past, but he clearly craves connection and would love a home where he can truly belong.
He’s a people-focused pup who thrives on attention and kindness. With his striking good looks and eager-to-please personality, Dougie has a lot of love to give. Because he hasn’t had much social experience with other dogs, Dougie would be best suited for a home where he can be the only pet.
Dougie is ready for a fresh start with someone who will give him the stability and care he deserves. If you’re looking for a loyal companion to share life’s adventures, come meet Dougie—you might just be the one he’s been waiting for.
To meet Dougie, contact: Calaveras County Animal Services, (209) 754-6509 or animal@calaverascounty.gov
Please use Dougie’s intake number (A058863) when making inquiries.
