Governor Newsom Vows to Keep Fighting as Federal Court Keeps National Guard in Presidential Hands

San Francisco, CA…Governor Gavin Newsom expressed disappointment that the Ninth Circuit is allowing the President to retain control of the California National Guard for now, but welcomed the Ninth Circuit’s rejection of Donald Trump’s sweeping claims that he could federalize the California National Guard as he alone sees fit and without having to answer to a court.  Governor Newsom and Attorney General Rob Bonta remain committed to holding President Trump accountable for using the military as domestic law enforcement in violation of federal law.

“The court rightly rejected Trump’s claim that he can do whatever he wants with the National Guard and not have to explain himself to a court. The President is not a king and is not above the law. We will press forward with our challenge to President Trump’s authoritarian use of U.S. military soldiers against citizens.”

    Newsom is right.
The Nat Guard is deployed at the Governor’s request, not before, this is the law.

The use of the military (Marines) was illegal under law.

    Posse comitatus-

a U.S. law that restricts the military from being used for domestic law enforcement unless specifically authorized by law.

And now the truth comes out.
Governor Nuisance was wine tasting in Napa the same day President Trump called out the National Guard. Now doesn’t this remind everybody about Covid lock downs and masking up while our Governor was out partying at the French Laundry.
Fuking Newsom is a piece of shit.

Read about the lying POS below.

While violent anti-ICE riots erupted across Los Angeles earlier this month, California’s Democratic Governor Gavin Newsom was attending a wine-tasting event in Napa Valley, according to a new report from City Journal.

On the afternoon of June 7, 2025, as chaos gripped Southern California, Newsom was seen mingling with guests at the “Vineyard Vibes” fundraiser held at the upscale Odette Estate Winery, which he co-founded in 2011.

According to senior fellow at the Manhattan Institute, Christopher Rufo, writing for City Journal, the event featured jazz music, locally sourced food, and a curated selection of premium wines. Rufo asked Newsom about the riots, if Gavin was worried and Governor Newsom said “the city was in good hands and he was being updated by Mayor Bass.”

“I couldn’t believe it,” said one guest at the event. “He was just walking around like this was an everyday occurrence.”

The unrest in Los Angeles began the day prior, June 6. By the time Newsom arrived at the winery, rioters in LA had already begun torching vehicles, smashing windows, and clashing violently with police. That evening, after the event concluded, President Trump ordered 2,000 National Guard troops to be deployed in California, citing the need to restore order amid “widespread lawlessness.”

The same day Newsom’s wine tasting was revealed, the 9th US Circuit Court of Appeals ruled that the Trump administration can maintain control of National Guard troops deployed in Los Angeles, handing the California governor another loss, stating the governor has a responsibility to the people of his state, and while you were wine tasting the President had to step in and take control for you.

And yet Newsom was wrong and you, and the President was correct since Mayor Bass couldn’t get hold of Newsom while he was chugging wine out of the box in Napa and not doing his job again, like usual.

No, they were there to guard federal property, and the National Guard were their to help the overwhelmed law enforcement that mayor Bass had told in the beginning. The alleged peaceful protesters were pelting law enforcement and the Feds with rocks and cement, besides the usual burning of private property, vandalism, you know how, the usual stuff like in 2020.

Newsom why not try to keep the power on in all of California instead of worrying about the control of the Guard

The utilities will not harden and make the lines safer.
    Profits are #1 safety 2nd.
The reported profits of the utilities prove this.
Until the CAPUC force stricter clearances, and equipment upgrades this will continue.

The don is clearly delusional (psychotic) his comments yesterday-

President Donald Trump issued a warning to critics like former State Secretary Mike Pompeo and Senator Lindsey Graham (R-SC) to be “very careful with their mouth” when encouraging Ukraine to continue fighting against Russia.

President Donald Trump floated an ambiguous plan to allow farmers to “take responsibility” for rooting out murderers and other criminals from the migrant workers they employ, without explaining how.

President Donald Trump complained to reporters that he should have been awarded as many as five Nobel Peace Prizes by now, but says they’re only given “to liberals.”

A federal judge in Boston on Friday indefinitely blocked Trump administration efforts to revoke Harvard University’s ability to enroll international students, and President Donald Trump took to social media to claim a “‘mindbogglingly’ HISTORIC” settlement with the school could be in the offing.

The problem with our political leaders is they do not listen to us, the voter. They’re just in it to make money and to stay in power. Perfect example, Nancy Pelosi made another killing in the stock market again, beating any and every stockbroker or company with her picks, again.

The majority of Democrats say that the party needs new leadership and to stop focusing on topics such as gender issues, according to a new Reuters/Ipsos poll. The poll found that there is a large disconnect between what average Democrats care about and their perception of the party leadership.

According to the poll, the party’s base does not think that the Democratic politicians care about helping families make ends meet or the influence of business in the US, two large priorities found in the poll.

Since their loss to President Donald Trump in November, there appears to be some work to do in order to find new leaders in the party. 72 percent of self-identified Democrats in the poll agreed that “the leadership of the Democratic Party should be replaced with new people.”

Only 14 percent of Democrats disagreed with the statement. When the question was asked to Republicans, only 30 percent said that the GOP needs new leadership. Leadership for the Democrats in the Democratic National Committee is also in disarray after the ouster of gun control activist David Hogg, as well as the resignation of Federation of Teachers President Randi Weingarten from her DNC membership.

Additionally, the Democrats who took the survey said that there is an overemphasis on issues they view as a lower priority, such as trans issues. Only 17 percent of Democrats in the poll said that getting men to play in women’s sports was a priority for them, however, 58 percent of Democrats in the poll said they thought party leadership was making it a high priority.

“There are more important things to be moving the needle on,” Benjamin Villagomez, who identifies as transgender, said. “There are more pressing issues, things that actually matter to people’s livelihoods.”

Economic issues appeared to be where those in the poll said party leaders have been the most lacking. 86 percent of Democrats said that taxes on the wealthy need to be a high priority, while in the poll, only 72 percent of Democrats thought their party leaders saw that as a priority.

Dissatisfaction with the leadership in the party was particularly emphasized among younger Democrat voters between the ages of 18 and 39.

Issues where younger Democrats thought there was a gap between how much the party leadership cares and how much they care themselves about a topic included universal healthcare, raising taxes on the rich, paid family leave, and limiting money in politics.

Nancy was in The New York Post on her husband’s stock wizardry picks. He’s just amazing.

Pelosi raked in millions last year — and her portfolio out-performed every large hedge fund with stunning returns.

The don’s “win” was actually a theft.
The red states stole the “win” for the don by purging 4.5 million likely Democratic voters in states using purging voters in likely Democratic precincts according to the federal Election Commission.
4.5 million votes would easily hand Harris a win .

The only way the Republicans “win” is by purging voters, and gerrymandering districts, picking their voters.

bush also “won” because brother Jeb used the Koback felon list of likely Democratic voters later proved to be a fraud.

The SCOTUS also denied a true vote count in Florida.
3 independent audits after the election showed Gore won the Fla popular vote and the electoral college.

Only thru the electoral college allows the Republicans to “win” their congressional, and president .

Winning these offices, by a minority, losing the popular vote in all 50 states , is anathema to Democracy.
