Arnold, CA…We hope you had a wonderful weekend celebrating our 249th birthday! We did something a bit different for this year’s parade coverage. In most years we just stay at the starting point video camera on tripod recording the parade go by. While this is probably the most accurate way of recording the festivities. It no longer seems to fit our social media age.
For this year we walked the entire parade video and still cameras in hand and caught better crowd shots, reactions from parade entrants & more. I think it will be a much better record of what it was actually like to be at the event as well as a record of the event.
We are sorting through over 800 photos and rendering the video later today.
