Sonora, CA…The League of Women Voters of the Mother Lode will have their General Meeting Saturday August 2, 2025 from 10am to noon. It will be held at the Tuolumne County Library, 480 Greenley Road, Sonora.

A screening of the dynamic speech given by the LWV National President at the June Convention will be aired. A discussion will follow about how each of us can defend Democracy here in Tuolumne and Calaveras counties. What does it mean to be a nonpartisan organization and what does it mean for the actions we each take as individuals?
