Angels Camp, CA – September 11, 2025 – At its September 10 meeting, the Calaveras County Fair Board of Directors selected the official slogan for the 2026 Calaveras County Fair & Jumping Frog Jubilee, which will be held May 14–17, 2026.
After reviewing more than 180 creative entries, including submissions from local students such as the 5th grade class at Valley Springs Elementary, the Board chose “Let Frogs Sing and Freedom Ring” by Jamie Roscelli. The winning slogan honors both the Fair’s beloved frog-jumping tradition and a patriotic theme.
As part of the prize, Jamie will receive:
💵 $200 in cash
🎟 A VIP package for the 2026 Calaveras County Fair & Jumping Frog Jubilee
“We were blown away by the creativity of our community, especially the students who took part this year,” Said CEO, Laurie Giannini “Jamie’s slogan perfectly captures the spirit of the Fair.”
In the coming weeks, the Fair will launch a call for art submissions to accompany the new slogan, so stay tuned for more opportunities to get involved.
