Murphys, CA…On September 17, 2025, at about 6:40 AM, deputies were dispatched to a report of a suspicious person armed with a knife threatening firefighters on Main Street, Murphys, CA. Upon arrival, the deputies were directed to the area of Church Street as a possible location of the suspect. While checking the area, deputies and Angels Camp Police Officers located Suspect Kevin Bradley Goff, age 56, of Murphys. Suspect Goff was detained without incident while the deputies conducted their investigation.
Upon speaking with witnesses, deputies learned that the fire department was conducting an official inspection of a residential fire that occurred the night prior. While they were inspecting, Suspect Goff approached the group of firefighters. When the fire personnel asked if he was ok or needed assistance, Suspect Goff produced a knife and made a stabbing motion toward them while advancing in their direction. As the victims left the immediate area, the suspect made disparaging remarks after them. Suspect Goff then began to walk down Main Street. As one victim called 911, others continued to observe the suspect from a safe distance and directed people away from him.
An interviewed witness stated they observed Suspect Goff holding a knife in a threatening manner while shouting at the firefighters. The witness also directed the deputies to the location on Algiers Street where Suspect Goff attempted to conceal the knife used in the incident. The knife was collected and later booked into evidence.
Suspect Goff was transported to the Calaveras County Jail and charged with criminal threats (felony) and brandishing a deadly weapon (misdemeanor).

In 2022, a political left man showed up at Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh’s house planning to kill him. That man was arrested, charged, and convicted and the DOJ is asking the judge to sentence him to 30 years in prison for the offence after defendant Nicholas Roske, 29, pled guilty in April. Now he identifies as transgender.
Roske has decided while in prison that he is transgender and changed his name, per court documents reviewed by The Daily Wire. He now goes by Sophie Roske and “legal team will refer to him using female pronouns.” The legal team is using the new name and female pronouns “out of respect” for the man who attempted to kill a Supreme Court justice.

A 64-year-old Sacramento man was arrested Saturday after allegedly firing multiple shots into local ABC affiliate ABC10, one day after a protest over the network’s indefinite suspension of late-night host Jimmy Kimmel.
Police have identified the suspect as Anibal Hernandezsantana. He was booked into the Sacramento County Main Jail on charges of assault with a deadly weapon, shooting into an occupied building, and negligent discharge of a firearm. Investigators are still determining a motive.
According to Deadline, law enforcement responded shortly after 1:30 pm Friday to reports of shots fired at the Sacramento station. At least three rounds were fired from a passing vehicle. Officers later located the vehicle, tracked it to a residence, and arrested Hernandezsantana.
“The shots appear to have come from a vehicle but it’s unknown if this was a targeted drive by type of incident or something random,” police said on Friday night, according to NBC News.
The station confirmed someone was in the lobby during the shooting, but no injuries occurred as a result. Station owner Tegna told ABC News that it is “fully cooperating with law enforcement and have taken additional measures to ensure the continued safety of our employees.”
The gunfire came a day after protesters gathered outside ABC10’s building on Thursday in response to ABC indefinitely suspending Kimmel. The late-night host was suspended immediately after he falsely claimed on his show that the alleged assassin responsible for the murder of Charlie Kirk was a republican. Kimmel had reportedly planned on doubling down on his comments had he been kept on-air.
Demonstrators outside the station carried signs that included phrases such as “First Amendment,” “Resist,” and “You’re Next.”
A left-wing hate group called the Socialist Rifle Association, made up of over 10,000 members has been conducting training for socialist and transgender extremists, and the group has now been linked to four major crimes, according to an investigation from the Daily Wire. As the report has been published, the leadership on their website appear to have attempted to hide their names.
As the report from the outlet was released this week, the leadership link on their website has been redirected to the music video for Rick Astley’s Never Gonna Give You Up, in a move commonly known as a Rick Roll. However, archives of the website as of August 14 this year still display the names and contact information of the leadership officers in the organization.
The president goes by the first name of “Hope” and identifies with “she/they” pronouns. Many others on the leadership list use “they/them pronouns, indicating those in leadership of the socialist organization identify as transgender or nonbinary. The rest of the leadership only goes by their first names as well.
According to the investigation from the Daily Wire, members of the Socialist Rifle Association get membership cards with the quote, “Any attempt to disarm workers must be frustrated, by force if necessary,” with a picture of Karl Marx. They stock up on rifles and other gear. A common logo used by the group is the transgender flag with the phrase “defend equality.” However, the videos presented by the group do not look like they are training for self-defense, but for combat.
The crimes that were linked to the group include the shooting of correctional officer in Texas on July 4, when a group of militants opened fire on DHS officers near an ICE facility in Alvarado, Texas. Benjamin Hanil Song, who was charged with shooting an officer in the neck, is part of the Socialist Rifle Association’s Dallas-Fort Worth chapter.
Paul Hyon Kim, the suspect charged with setting fire to and shooting up five Teslas in Las Vegas, also appears to be a member of the organization. Court documents said, “Kim has an Instagram page where he follows the Socialist Rifle Association’s page. In a post from October 2018, on the Reno Socialist Rifle Association’s Instagram page, is a picture of a subject that appears to be Paul Kim training with firearms.”
On January 20, Adam Matthew Lansky allegedly firebombed a Tesla dealership in Salem, Oregon, and in charging documents, prosecutors said, “Lansky is a competitive shooter and a former member of the Socialist Rifle Association. He is skilled and well-practiced in the use of firearms and combat scenarios. The [improvised incendiary devices] used by Lansky were all manufactured by him.”
Danel Alan Baker, who was sentenced to 44 months in prison for threats for offering “cash rewards for information leading to the verified identification of an and every individual in this video [from January 6]. Don’t worry, I wont ne [sic] going to the cops. We have decided to handle this ourselves.”
“Baker has made multiple violent threats to those he claims are white supremacists, fascists, United States persons with different ideologies than his, and allies of the United States. In addition, Baker has promoted the killing of United States military officers.” In 2017, Baker joined “a sub-affiliate of Kurdistan’s Working Party, which has been designated a Foreign Terrorist Organization,” prosecutors said.
The Socialist Rifle Association chapter in Utah said that Tyler Robinson, the suspect charged with murdering Charlie Kirk was not a member, but did not provide an answer when the outlet asked if Lance Twiggs, Robinson’s transgender roommate and romantic partner, was a member, citing confidentiality policies when the Daily Wire requested comment.
