Deputies Host a Tour of the Sheriff’s Department for Kindergarten Class

San Andreas, CA…On September 26, 2025, deputies from the Calaveras County Sheriff’s Office had the pleasure of hosting a local kindergarten class. The deputies covered several topics related to public safety, when to use 911, and other various interactive topics. After a tour of the Sheriff’s Office and our tactical rescue vehicle, the class gifted the deputies with a poster, thanking them for their service.

The Sheriff’s Office would like to thank the school staff for arranging the visit with our deputies. Experiences like these help children understand that deputies are approachable and are safe people to talk to when they need.
Please contact our office if you would like to arrange for a deputy to visit a classroom or bring your class to our office.

No, not at all. The majority of Americans blame democrats for the Fed Gov shutdown. Demanding $1.5 Trillion Dollars for their agenda.
Now Trump’s administration can got more federal obesity without having democrats getting to vote on any of it.
      Read on.

House Speaker Mike Johnson, R-La., said Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer, D-N.Y., created a problematic government shutdown for the American people — but the move may have handed President Donald Trump the “keys to the kingdom.”

“While a shutdown is very damaging for real American people who depend upon government services, it can provide an opportunity to downsize the scope and the scale of government, which is something that we’ve all always wanted to do,” Johnson told “Mornings with Maria” on Wednesday.

“So, in a way, Chuck Schumer has now handed the keys to the kingdom to the executive branch under President Trump to do some things that we would not otherwise be able to do because we would never get Democrat votes for them.”

The House speaker accused Schumer and House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries (D-N.Y.) of taking “a partisan political stand for their own purposes” after the duo failed to bring “credible” arguments to their meeting with President Trump.

Johnson explained that Office of Management and Budget Director Russell Vought will now be responsible for deciding which services to prioritize or suspend because of the shutdown.

“And Chuck Schumer has allowed that, so from his political perspective, it’s a pretty massive backfire, and there’s a real opportunity for government to work more efficiently and effectively for the people [once] those decisions are made.”

The federal government shut down overnight after Democrats and Republicans in the Senate failed to reach a spending agreement by the Sept. 30 fiscal year 2025 deadline.

The shutdown impacts many public services and government agencies, including Medicare and Medicaid, FEMA, Veterans Affairs and the Department of Transportation.

Republicans have been against all Democratic programs that were for the people.
    SS
    Medicare, Medicaid
    Food stamps
    Public Schools
    Defending Unions

Now defunding agencies that help all –
    FEMA,
    NOAA
    EPA
    FDA
    NHS

Now Republicans support the liquidation of farmers
Tariffs that are a tax on all, most will go for the billionaire tax cut.
Tariffs cause inflation, sadly while the tariffs are causing unemployment.

The lies about the Biden economy are just that.
    After restoring our economy.
Biden’s policies lowered inflation lowered unemployment, a strong economy, then it all reversed, caused by a targeted attack on our Republic , it’s economy, free speech, civil rights, Constitution and laws.

The don is employing the 5 acts to turning a Democracy into a Autocracy.

Russel Vought the author of Project 2025 is at the help of the OMB , where all this economic attack is coming from.
Stephan Miller is running DHS, with his racist White Christian only policies, deporting any not White, even those of any color who are in the US legally.

ICE is comparable to hitler’s brown shirts.

Republicans are allowing the end of America knowingly.

Healthcare known as Obamacare going up? Here’s why.
Democrats are accusing Republicans of wanting to inflate Affordable Care Act premiums amid the ongoing federal government shutdown debate as critics argue it’s proof that the program was not sustainable to begin with.

One reason for the shutdown centers around the “enhanced” tax credits for Affordable Care Act premiums as the subsidies, which started in 2021, are set to end this year, according to KFF.

“If you live in these states, your ACA premiums are about to jump: SD – Up 235% LA – Up 150% WV – Up 387% WY – Up 382% TN – Up 320% MS – Up 314% AK – Up 346%,” Sen. Tammy Duckworth, D-Ill., posted on X.

GOP ACCUSES DEMS OF RISKING SHUTDOWN TO RESTORE ‘ILLEGAL IMMIGRANT HEALTHCARE’

“Republicans are fighting to make sure this happens to their own constituents,” she added.

“If Congress doesn’t extend ACA enhanced premium tax credits, 20 million Americans will see a dramatic rise in premium costs, and another 4 million people will lose their coverage completely,” Sen. Jeanne Shaheen, D-New Hampshire, posted on X.

“My Republican colleagues need to come to the table so that we can prevent this disaster,” she added.

However, subsidies being used to lower costs sparks concerns about the longevity of the Obama-era policy.

Brian Blase, the president of the Paragon Health Institute and a former advisor on the White House’s National Economic Council, countered a claim made in a post from Sen. Mark Warner, D-Va., that “Republicans are intentionally skyrocketing your premiums.”

“1. Premiums went up because of the ACA 2. Large subsidies were put in place to offset enrollees’ costs. 3. During COVID, there were subsidy add-ons. Democrats scheduled them to expire after 2025. 4. The original large subsidies will still be in place,” Blase explained.

“The premium increase will hit regardless of what Congress does. That is an unfortunate feature of how Obamacare is working. The question is the share that should be paid by taxpayers,” he continued in another X post. “Pouring more subsidies on insurers entrenches the status quo & means higher premiums & prices.”

HOUSE DEMOCRATS THREATEN SHUTDOWN FIGHT TO PROTECT OBAMACARE PERKS

A split image of Hakeem Jeffries and Barack Obama
House Democrats, led by House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries, are warning their party is rejecting any government shutdown deal that does not extend expiring Obamacare subsidies. (Al Drago/Bloomberg via Getty Images; Debra L Rothenberg/WireImage)

“Subsidizing phantom enrollees, people with high incomes, people enrolled in several programs, outright fraud, and insurance companies, thereby raising the costs for *everyone* to cover the fact that every predicted problem with Obamacare was realized,” conservative commentator Mary Katharine Ham posted.

The government shutdown began Wednesday at midnight and a GOP-backed attempt to temporarily reopen the government failed in the Senate later in the day.

“Democrats are fighting to extend expiring COVID-era Obamacare subsidies they passed under Joe Biden with zero Republican support,” Sen. Mike Lee, R-Utah, posted in an X thread on Wednesday. “These subsidies are responsible for tens of billions in improper and fraudulent payments.”

“The pool of people eligible for Obamacare subsidies vastly increased, with insurance companies being the ultimate beneficiaries. Dishonest brokers were incentivized to recruit—or invent—as many people as possible, each new signup bringing with it thousands in taxpayer dollars,” the senator continued.

DEMS NOT BUDGING ON GOVERNMENT SHUTDOWN DEMANDS AHEAD OF HIGH-STAKES TRUMP MEETING, JEFFRIES SUGGESTS

Vice President JD Vance on Wednesday told “Fox and Friends” that he will work with Democrats on extending insurance subsidies for Obamacare “after they’ve reopened the government.”

“You can’t reward this exercise in hostage taking, which is what we would be doing if we allow the government opening to be conditional on the Democrats’ policy disagreement,” Vance said.

“That premium support program doesn’t even expire until next year. So why are you shutting down the government on October 1 because of a program that doesn’t even expire for another few months,” he continued. “Let’s talk about it, let’s negotiate, let’s do what you do in Washington, D.C.”

“The government shutdown has occurred because Senator Chuck Schumer is holding the funding process hostage. The continuing resolution would have allowed the government to function while we finish the appropriations process in a bipartisan way,” Sen. Roger Wicker, R-Miss., posted on Wednesday. “The longer Senator Schumer plays games, the greater the damage to national security, service members, and veterans. I urge my Democrat colleagues to adopt the House-passed bill, which would immediately reopen the government.”

Its so terribly bad here for them but they just can’t seem to pack up their belongings in mom’s trailer in paper bags and leave. I guess all those freebies they get from the taxpayers is too strong of a magnet for them. Maybe when the Republicans start making them work 20 to 30 hours a week for those benefits, they’ll grace Canada or Mexico with their demands.

A reporter at the site supposedly assaulted, had a black eye.
She tried to have the lady who allegedly assaulted her got a Portland cop showed him her eye, and pointed out the supposed assaulter .
The cop refused to investigate her claim.

Fox is trying to back up the don’s false war in Portland.
This was all obviously a lie.

Sad times we live in. Thanks Republicans.

Wow, in 8 months, the US economy went from low unemployment, lowered inflation, a healthy farm sector, manufacturing , on the way to a clean low carbon energy future, many infrastructure projects to now-

All gone, due to maga policies .
This is the difference between a Democratic administration, and a Republican administration.

Russel Vought the project 2025 author, and champion of the “unitary executive” plan is at the center of this marked departure from a Democratic Constitution representative government to what we now have – an autocratic regime.

    A king.

The House of Representatives stated in the Constitution has the duties of levying tariffs, yet under the new regime, the don is a king ordering tariff policies. This is illegal, yet the Republicans allow it, as they are permitting the end of our Democracy and Constitution.

On our Defense the don has dismantled many parts of our domestic security , intelligence, cyber defense, a questionable reorganization of our military.

    Why?

    • Anonymous   October 3, 2025 8:31 am - at 8:31 am

      “a healthy farm sector”???????????????????????
Dude, where do you get your news besides FOX and Newsmax?
Farmers are in horrible shape, thanks to Trumps tariffs.
Can’t sell their corn, wheat, soybeans.
Now praying for a government bailout.
You know, like they gave Wall Street back in the day.

Many Farmers are going bankrupt by the minute and you say “a healthy farm sector”.
You are instantaneously disqualified from giving any educated opinion. Your mind has been poisined by the Trump machine.

Again. Farmers are in their worst shape in decades thanks to Trump. And you, the above commentor, are nothing but a gullible hick zombie Trumper. Undeniable.

The don’s brown shirts ICE raid in Chicago.
Local resident Rodrick Johnson, who lives in the building raided by Immigration and Customers Enforcement (ICE) agents, told the Chicago Sun-Times that federal officials broke down his door, put him in zip ties, and kept him detained outside the building for three hours before letting him go.

“I asked [agents] why they were holding me if I was an American citizen, and they said I had to wait until they looked me up,” he told the paper. “I asked if they had a warrant, and I asked for a lawyer. They never brought one.”
Ebony Sweets Watson, who lives across the street from the raided building, told the Chicago Sun-Times that she saw children, some of whom weren’t even wearing clothes, dragged out of the building by ICE agents and then placed into U-Haul vans.
“Stuff was everywhere,” she said. “You could see people’s birth certificates, and papers thrown all over. Water was leaking into the hallway. It was wicked crazy.”
Very few were arrested, no warrants shown, agents said “not necessary”.

Welcome to the don’s lawless regime.

  18. Anonymous   October 2, 2025 12:42 pm - at 12:42 pm

The use of troops in many US cities is illegal, as the Governors did not request them.
Many are saying this is a ploy by the don to claim there is an insurrection going on across America, as an excuse to postpone, or cancel our elections.

This is obviously a “soft coup” by the don and his Republicans, who are signed on with project 2025 which proposes the “Unitary executive”‘ , ending elections for Federal government Representatives, all in the Republican government will be appointed by the don.

Democracy died in 2025, just as Russel Vought planned in his 900 page project 2025, which the don denied he knew about, but now agrees with it, and is implementing it.
Russel Vought, and Stephan Miller appear to be the shadow government heads in this “soft coup” , after the violent coup attempt in 2020 Jan 6 failed.

    The don-
    Offers $10billion to soybean farmers.
Gave $20 billion to Argentina, which then dropped tariffs on their soy sent to China. The fascist wannbe Prez of Argentina is unpopular, the don wants to bail him out.
The US subsidized the Argentina farmers much more , after he caused the tariff problem originally.

    WTF donny ?
