We are living during a soft coup every day.
Speaker Johnson has illegally recessed the House for over a month now, which is illegal under the Constitution.
The Senate in the Constitution states the Senate will approve any recess of the House for over 3 days.
The Senate has approved the actions of Johnson.
This leaves America with no restraints on the president, who is now preparing to invade Venezuela.
Under the war powers act the House must approve any war, which cannot happen with the House in recess.
America for now is living in an autocracy- a king.
A king? Well since we now have a king and Democracy is dead, no use in voting now.
That will save the tax payers Billions of dollars.
Not only that, but Gayvin Newsom won’t be embarrassed like Kamala was in the last election.

DNC Debt unknown
The Democratic National Committee paid $1.6 million last month to cover debt from the 2024 presidential campaign of Kamala Harris, bringing the DNC’s total payout to the campaign to more than $20 million, Axios reported Wednesday.
The DNC is trying to rebuild in the aftermath of last year’s defeat on Election Day, but is being hindered by debts the party accumulated during 2024.
During her 107-day presidential campaign, Harris spent an unprecedented $1.5 billion, and invoices from that spending continue to arrive at the DNC almost a year later.
Axios reported that Democratic officials are not sure how much outstanding debt remains from the Harris campaign.

Gov. Gavin Newsom, D-Calif., was mocked over the weekend for describing how his family was “hustling” to pay the bills and stay ahead.
Newsom detailed his childhood on “All The Smoke” podcast Saturday about being raised by his mother who “came from no money and just hustled” with “two and a half jobs” to make ends meet.
“It was also about paying the bills, man. It was just like hustling, and so I was out there, kind of raising myself, turning on the TV, just getting obsessed. I was sitting there with the Wonder Bread,” the California Democrat said before being interrupted by the hosts’ laughter.
“His dad worked for Getty oil,” comedian Adam Carolla said

Department of Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem announced on Monday that in the first nine months of the Trump administration, her department has made nearly 500,000 arrests of illegal immigrants, the majority of which have criminal charges and/or convictions.
“Today marks nine months since President Trump has been in office and since he began his work to restore American safety for our families that live here. What he has accomplished for the American people is nothing short of extraordinary. We appreciate what he has done to make us safe again, to secure our borders and to make sure that he’s protecting our people.”
Noem said that since January, the DHS has “arrested over 480,000 criminal illegal aliens, 70 percent of those individuals have criminal charges against them or have been convicted of those criminal charges.”
“Across the country, we’re making communities safer so that families can thrive and they can prosper and they can enjoy the kind of freedom that this country was established to provide.”
Noem cited a recent Harvard Harris poll during her Monday address, which found that 78 percent of Americans support deporting illegal immigrants who have committed crimes, and 56 percent of Americans support deporting all migrants in the US illegally.
Among those arrested in Florida, where she gave her Monday address, were Cuban national Erick Carlos Artiles Ramos, who had been convicted of homicide, kidnapping, driving under the influence, and robbery armed carjacking; El Salvadorian national Oscar Alfredo Retana Marroquin, who had previously been convicted of sexual assault of a child and driving under the influence; and Mexican national Arturo Sanchez Morales, who has convictions for lewd or lascivious acts with a minor, incest with a minor, and driving under the influence.
