If SNAP is all about feeding the needy American elderly and kids, then I’m not sure who could argue against making sure those who don’t deserve it are weeded out.
Ag Secretary Brooke Rollins had this to say (not that it is surprising).

How much money does it cost to do these new audits? There are already ongoing audits at several levels.
Should the program be so difficult to apply for that the result is hungry children?
