Calaveras Sheriff’s Dept Saluted Veterans on Veterans Day 2025

San Andreas, CA…Veterans Day is the day we honor the military veterans of the United States Armed Forces. On behalf of the men and women of the Calaveras County Sheriff’s Office, thank you for your sacrifices, dedication, and all you’ve done for our country.

Sheriff Whiting and Deputy Bodie Johnson, a former Army Specialist/Infantryman with six years of service, participated in the Veterans’ Day Parade in Copperopolis, sponsored by Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 12118.

The Calaveras County Sheriff’s Office is proud to support the military, with many of our staff having served or currently serving in the armed forces. We honor their dedication, sacrifice, and commitment to protecting our nation and our community.

In observance of Veterans Day, we extend our heartfelt gratitude to all veterans for their service and sacrifice.
