Angels Camp, CA…Sheila Ann McIntyre (11/20/1937 – 11/14/2025). Sheila passed away peacefully on the morning of November 14, 2025, welcomed into heaven in the arms of her son Blaine and so many beloved family and friends. Sheila was born on November 20, 1937, in Oakland, California to James (Bernie) and Ann Moran. She was a loving and devoted wife to Walter McIntyre for 69 years and an adoring mother to her three children.
Sheila graduated from Holy Names Catholic High School in 1955. Although she received a college scholarship, she chose to work in order to help support her husband through college, always putting others before herself. After raising their three children, she returned to college and proudly earned her bachelor’s degree. Sheila worked in the Human Resources Department for Hitachi America. After retirement, she continued volunteering for her church and became a Long Term Care Ombudsman for Catholic Charities. She enjoyed being able to give back and to assist seniors living in skilled nursing facilities.
Sheila was described as a person you would immediately become attached to. Her beautiful smile and bright shining Irish green eyes were hard to resist. Her huge heart and kind ways captured those that met her. She loved being surrounded by family and friends and was the proud host of the annual McIntyre Easter Reunion. She moved from her home of 42 years in Sunnyvale to start a new journey in Angels Camp, where she lived closer to her family. She instantly made new friends at the Murphy’s Senior Center, where she spent the last seven years playing pinochle. She enjoyed her new friends, neighborhood, church, the beautiful country and most of all being close to her family.
She leaves behind her loving husband Walter B. McIntyre; her children Kathleen Fisher (Tim), Deanna Holden (Brant), Chela McIntyre (daughter in law); her grandchildren Joshua McIntyre (Alexandra), Callan Fisher (Hannah), Robert Holden, Brant Fadenrecht Jr.; her great grandchildren, Henry and Barron. Sheila was preceded in death by her son, Blaine S. McIntyre.
A life that touches others goes on forever.
A Funeral Service will be held on December 1, 2025 at 12:00 noon at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church, 820 South Main Street, Angels Camp, CA. Reception to follow at the church hall.
