Murphys, CA…Murphys, CA…Robert Becker June 17, 1947 ~ December 6, 2025 (age 78).  Robert (Bob) Becker June 17, 1947 to December 6, 2025 (age 78).  Bob passed away peacefully at home on December 6, 2025. He fought the brave fight against Agent Orange related disease for 6 years with his family by his side. We will always be grateful to the Ebbetts Pass Fire Crew and the UC Davis Doctors, Nurses, and staff and countless others. He was put to rest at the Sacramento Valley National Cemetery on December 18, 2025, surrounded by extended family.

Bob was a loving father of two sons, Shane and Connor. They were his pride and joy. He so enjoyed coaching their teams and taking pride in all their accomplishments. He was the kind of father that raised the bar for all fathers. He was a proud Vietnam Veteran. He served in the Navy from 67 to 69 and attended yearly reunions with his beloved VAP– 61 unit.

Bob was an active and hard-working member of Rotary International, and he received the Paul Harris Award twice. Being a Rotarian was an important part of his life.

Bob worked for Pacific Gas and Electric for 50 years. He started out as a meter reader in San Louis Obispo and worked his way up the ladder and moved all-over Northern California to work in many different yards. He retired from the Angels Camp, CA yard.

Bob is survived by his wife Sandy of almost 30 years who misses his great wit, kind spirit, good cooking, and most importantly love. It must be said what a huge fan of the Rams and the Dodgers Bob was and he so enjoyed the last couple of years.

He is greatly missed.
