Bear Valley, CA…Sunny skies and temps in the low 30s today are locking in yesterday’s snowfall. Conditions are prime with soft turns, preserved coverage, and plenty of good snow to be found across the mountain. It’s a great day to get laps in and enjoy the payoff from this week’s storm.

CAL BAND LIVE ON THE SLOPES
The CAL Band is bringing their unmatched energy to Bear Valley for one of our most anticipated weekends of the season!
With over 100 band members performing live across the resort and at the Bear Valley Lodge, this is a can’t-miss experience both on and off the slopes. The highlight? On Saturday, January 10 at 1:30 PM, the CAL Band will ski and ride down Cub Meadow while playing their instruments.
It’s one of our favorite events of the year!

Bear Valley kicks off the 2026 South Central Series with the first race of the season on January 10th–11th! Watch top racers tackle the SL course on Feather Duster, don’t miss the fast-paced action.
On the night of Saturday, January 10th, join us in the Sunroom for the Awards Dinner featuring live music by Kiana Chanelle, and a silent auction.
Tickets are $30 (vegetarian and meat options available) A limited number of tickets are available for purchase on the day of the event!
