Winter Explosion: Torchlight Parade & Fireworks Show

Join us for one of the biggest celebrations of the season on Saturday, January 17th! When the lifts stop turning, the night is just getting started with DJ sets, dinner, and a torchlight parade down the mountain, ending with a fireworks show lighting up the sky! 

9AM – 2PM | Never Summer Demos

Never Summer Snowboards is coming to the Sundeck for a demo! Stop by to say hi to the crew, check out their latest boards, and take one for a test ride. You will need a valid ID, Credit card to leave on file and bindings!

11:30 – 2:30PM | Kiana Chanelle live on the sundeck

1:00 PM | Torchlight Parade Sign-Ups (Sunroom)

Sign-ups open at 1:00 PM in the Sunroom and are available on a first-come, first-served basis. In-person registration only; no advance reservations, limited spots. 

Torchlight Participant Requirements:

Advanced skiers and snowboarders only (skiing/riding down Spring Gap & Porridge Bowl at night while carrying a torch).*Participants under 18 will carry a light up baton. Liability waiver required at the time of sign-up.

3:30 PM – 7:00 PM | DJ set by Disco Cowboy

Enjoy an electric DJ as the energy builds for the evening festivities.

Complimentary Shuttle Service:

The shuttle will run continuously between the village and the mountain until 7:30 PM. The final shuttle from the mountain back to the village departs at 7:30 PM.

5:00 PM | Dinner Special

Dinner tickets will be available for purchase on the day of the event at Ebbetts Cafeteria. Dinner service begins at 5:00 PM in Ebbetts Grill and will be $30 per person.

6:30 PM | Torchlight Participant Chairlift Loading Begins

7:00 PM | Torchlight Parade & FireworksThe highlight of the evening. Watch as the mountain lights up with a torchlight parade, followed by a fireworks show to close out the night.

8:00 PM – 12AM | After Party at Monte Wolfe Deck presented by Dome Dust 

DJ set presented by Dome Dust to keep the night going!

PARKING

Preferred Parking is in effect on weekends & holidays for $30 per vehicle.  There is no fee to park in the preferred lot on weekdays, excluding holiday periods.

Preferred parking season pass holders have reserved access to the preferred lot areas until 10am daily.  Have your pass displayed (hang on your rear view mirror) upon arrival to the mountain and while you are parked in the preferred parking areas.

VILLAGE SHUTTLE SERVICE

Our complimentary village shuttle runs daily between the Bear Valley Mountain Resort parking lot and the Bear Valley Village hotel.  See shuttle schedule below:

Village to Mountain: 8:00am, 9:00am, 10:00am, 12:00pm, 1:00pm, 2:00pm, 3:00pm, 4:00pm

Mountain to Village: 8:30am, 9:30am, 11:30am, 12:30pm, 1:30pm, 2:30pm, 3:30pm, 4:30pm

PARKING LOT SHUTTLE SERVICE

Our complimentary parking lot shuttles runs on weekends and holidays.  They will loop continuously throughout the parking lot.  Operating hours are 8:00am-4:30pm.

Overnight Parking:

Overnight parking is available only in the RV parking lot behind the sand shack for a charge of $20 per night.

Lessons

We recommend arriving at least 1 hour prior to your lesson to allow extra time for check-in and lines, give yourself more time than usual to arrive and settle in for your day on the hill.
