Washington, DC…The Club for Growth Political Action Committee has endorsed the re-election of Congressman Tom McClintock in the 5^th Congressional District.  The Club for Growth is a political powerhouse in Republican primaries, dedicated to supporting candidates with strong leadership for free enterprise principles.

The Club has recognized Rep. McClintock as a 13-time winner of Club for Growth’s Defender of Economic Freedom Award with a lifetime rating of 95% from the Club for Growth Foundation scorecard.

Rep. Tom McClintock said, “I am proud and gratified to have the enthusiastic support of the Club for Growth PAC. They were decisive in my primary victory in 2008 and have done more to assure the election of free-market candidates than any other organization in America.”

The Club for Growth PAC joins a growing list of McClintock endorsements.  Two weeks ago, President Trump announced his “Complete and Total Endorsement” of McClintock’s re-election, Last week, at the unanimous request of the Republican Central Committees representing El Dorado, Amador, Calaveras, Mariposa, Madera, Fresno, Stanislaus, San Joaquin, Tuolumne, and Placer counties, the California Republican party named him as the official Republican candidate in the 5th Congressional District primary election.
