Arnold, CA…Our big snowstorm has been followed by sunny and warm days, which means this snow will not last long. Snowshoes are not needed to walk the North Grove trail, but traction devices and walking sticks are highly recommended for the slippery trail conditions.
Be ready for snow and mud on the trail. The remaining snow is icy in the mornings and slushy in the afternoons. Some snow remains in the snow play areas left over from plowing.
