Groveland, CA…An Update from the Stanislaus National Forest…”Lumsden Road update. So the Chief of the Forest Service was recently on the Stanislaus. We took the Chief to several different locations including Lumsden Road where he learned of the effort and challenges in reopening and maintaining Lumsden Road. During the presentation it was announced that Lumsden Road should be open for the 2026 season, as early as May. Meanwhile, work continues on the road! Fingers Crossed!”
