Angels Camp, CA…(Frogtown, USA)…The Calaveras County Fair & Jumping Frog Jubilee is proud to announce that the 2026 Fair will be dedicated to the Renaldo “Aldie” and Paula Broglio Family, honoring their generations of service to agriculture, youth, and the Calaveras County community.

With deep roots in Angels Camp, Aldie and Paula grew up surrounded by the traditions of the Fair—from frog jockey duties at the Jumping Frog Jubilee to showing cattle and supporting the rodeo. Their families were longtime supporters of the Fair, helping build the traditions that continue today.

For more than 30 years, Aldie and Paula have opened their ranch to youth who didn’t have facilities to raise livestock projects, helping over 100 young people participate in the Fair. Aldie has also served on the Junior Livestock Committee since 1980, while Paula helped organize the Junior Livestock Buyers Breakfast for more than three decades.

Their legacy continues through multiple generations of the Broglio family who remain active in the Fair, local agriculture, youth programs, and community service.
