Make Tipper, Your Tipper & Let Her Join Your Family Today!!

San Andreas, CA…Meet Tipper a female Pit Bull / Border Collie mix, 1 year old, 42 pounds. We’re excited to share an update on Tipper, who was previously featured and has since spent time in a foster home building confidence and learning what life outside the shelter can be like. The progress she’s made has been wonderful to see, and she’s more ready than ever to find her home.

Tipper is a sensitive, affectionate dog who forms deep bonds with her people. She may take a little time to warm up, but once she does, she becomes a devoted companion—following her person from room to room and gazing up with those soft, adoring eyes that are hard to resist. She has a gentle, tender nature and thrives on calm, reassuring connection.

Her foster reports that Tipper has settled beautifully into home life. She is potty trained, can be left alone during the workday without getting into trouble, and rides calmly in the car. She enjoys a relaxed routine and is happiest lounging nearby, making her a great match for someone looking for a lower-energy, easygoing companion.

Tipper also does well with other dogs and has shown she can live in a home with cats. While she was initially more reliant on canine companionship for confidence, her time in foster care has helped her grow more secure and adaptable. A peaceful home where she can continue to build trust and feel safe will help her truly thrive.
