Your Love for Guinness Will be Record Breaking! Adopt Him Today!

San Andreas, CA…Meet Guinness (A060605), a male Labrador Retriever mix, about 11 months old and weighing 60 pounds.  Guinness is a striking jet-black youngster with a joyful, playful spirit and energy to spare. With his glossy coat, accented by a splash of white on his chest and a few charming white toes, he’s a handsome dog who turns heads. Still very much in his puppy phase, Guinness brings enthusiasm to everything he does—especially playtime, where his happy zoomies are on full display.

When he first arrived, Guinness was a bit unsure of his surroundings, but as he’s settled in, his affectionate and fun-loving personality has really come through. He enjoys being around people and welcomes attention, though his excitement can sometimes lead to jumping up for greetings. He’s eager to connect and clearly wants to be part of the action.

Guinness is interested in other dogs and has done well with those he’s met so far, though he may be a little shy at first. As his confidence grows, he’s likely to enjoy having canine companions to play with. He also enjoys chasing a ball, even if he’s still working on the “bring it back” part of the game.

On leash, Guinness is active but manageable and shows a willingness to please. With continued training, structure, and the natural maturity that comes with age, he has all the makings of a wonderful companion. Because of his size and enthusiasm, a home with older children may be the best fit.

Guinness is still learning the basics, including housetraining, and will benefit from a family ready to guide him through the final stages of puppyhood. For an active household looking for a fun, affectionate dog to grow with, Guinness could be a perfect match.
