Arnold, CA…Conditions have proven favorable and firefighters with the Stanislaus National Forest’s Calaveras Ranger District did ignitions on the Irish-O’Manuel Burn Units.

550 acres are planned to be treated with low-intensity fire, with planned ignitions on approximately 50-200 acres daily. Daily areas burnt will vary based on environmental conditions and smoke production. Burn units are located north of Highway 4 between San Antonio Creek and O’Neil Creek along Forest Road 5N56 and Forest Road 5N52
