Alpine & Tuolumne Counties, CA…Temporary Pass Closures SONORA PASS (STATE ROUTE 108), EBBETTS PASS (STATE ROUTE 4)& MONITOR PASS (STATE ROUTE 89). The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) will have a temporary road closure in place on State Route 108 East (Sonora Pass) due to incoming storm conditions. The eastbound closure will be set at Kennedy Meadows, and the westbound closure will be at Leavitt Falls. The temporary closure is scheduled to begin Tuesday, May 26, 2026, at 12:00 p.m.

CALAVERAS-ALPINE COUNTIES – The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) will have a temporary road closure in place on State Route 4 (Ebbetts Pass) due to incoming storm conditions. The eastbound closure will be set at Lake Alpine, and the westbound closure will be set at the SR-4/89 Junction closure gate. The temporary closure is scheduled to begin Tuesday, May 26, 2026, at 12:00 p.m.

ALPINE COUNTY – The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) will have a temporary closure in place on State Route 89 (Monitor Pass) due to incoming storm conditions. The eastbound closure will be set at the State Route 4/89 junction, and the westbound closure will be set at US-395. The temporary closure is scheduled to begin Tuesday, May 26, 2026, at 12:00 p.m.
