Arnold, CA…This morning we stopped by White Pines Park to catch the start of the Half Marathon which was one of the most popular distances. Arnold Rim Trail Association hosted their 2nd “Run the Rim” trail run event for people to enjoy the natural beauty of the spectacular Arnold Rim Trial, burn some calories, get those competitive juices flowing & maybe set a PR or two.
It was also impressive to see On Your Mark Event’s race setup. They had enough computers, tracing systems & more to probably land a rocket or two.
The racers directly supported the Arnold Rim Trail Association non-profit’s ongoing efforts to develop and maintain this treasured trail system, ensuring it remains a pristine outdoor recreation destination for hikers, trail runners, mountain bikers, and equestrians for generations to come. Trail for Everyone…Forever!!
This year runners could choose from 5 distances from 50k to 5k on primarily single track trails; 2 distances added: 50k Ultra Marathon distance and 5k trail run. There was also the Classic Arnold Rim Trail 35k (22 miles) that runs end to end on official Arnold Rim Trail post 100 to Post 1. 2 improved loops courses for 21k (half marathon) and 10 distances. 50k, 35k and 21k are mainly single track trails that wind through majestic pine, fir, and cedar forests with breathtaking vistas. 10k and 5k circle White Pines Lake and include great single track trails.

9 hour time limit for the race. All runners must be off the course by 5:00 PM.
Capacity: 2026 race capacity is 150 runners across all distances
Timing: Race will be timed by our partners OnYourMark Events.
