Road Improvements & Traffic Delays on Pennsylvania Gulch Road

Murphys, CA…Beginning on June 10, 2026, and continuing through late July, there will be sidewalk improvements and traffic delays on Pennsylvania Gulch Road.Motorists and pedestrians are urged to use caution in the area as traffic lanes will be impacted by traffic control and construction crews along Pennsylvania Gulch Road.
Crews will be active during daylight hours of 7:00 am to 5:00 pm.The Pennsylvania Gulch Road Sidewalk Project is being constructed by R. Sutton Enterprises, LLC who is under contract with Calaveras. Your cooperation is appreciated and we will do everything we can to complete the project on schedule.

    Glad to see a local contractor, Sutton Enterprises, is sticking it to Calaveras County rather than some out of town contractor. If the county is gonna get reamed by someone, might as well be a local.

      Emerson pretty good at milking it. They did a number on highway 4 at the State Park years ago. And plaming Michael Oliveira on a bridge rental going into White Pines Lake.
