San Andreas, CA…Meet Jasper (A060736), a male Shiba Inu mix, about 5 months old and weighing approximately 20 pounds. Jasper is the last of a litter of adorable Shiba Inu mix puppies still waiting for his forever family. While his siblings have already found homes, Jasper is hoping his turn is just around the corner. With his soft tan coat, bright eyes, and distinctive white marking on his nose, he is every bit as charming as you would expect from a young puppy discovering the world.
At five months old, Jasper is at a wonderful age for bonding with a new family and learning all the skills that will help him grow into a confident adult dog. Like many puppies, he is playful, curious, and eager to investigate everything around him. Shelter staff have found him to be sweet-natured and not especially mouthy, which is always a welcome trait in a youngster.
Shiba Inu mixes are often known for being intelligent, alert, and independent thinkers. Those qualities can make them both entertaining and rewarding companions. Jasper will benefit from continued socialization, positive training, and plenty of opportunities to explore, learn, and build confidence as he matures.
Jasper would thrive in a home ready to embrace the fun, laughter, and occasional mischief that come with raising a puppy. In return, his new family will get to experience one of life’s great pleasures: watching a young dog grow up knowing he is loved. As the last puppy still waiting, we’re especially hoping someone will give Jasper the happy ending he deserves.
